Blake E Mysteries

Blake E Mysteries

Spring has sprung, the grass is gris, In my backyard, the joeys is.

 G’day,

Sunset Moonee BeachI published my first Blake E mystery in September 2015—and that’s the start of Spring down here in the Southern Hemisphere. I’m an Aussie who lives on the east coast of Australia in a small town called Moonee Beach. My home sits on a gimungous block of land and is surrounded by kangaroos and kookaburras. The climate is super with top temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees. That’s Centigrade of course and if Fahrenheit is your temperature language you’ll have to change those. If you multiply each of those temperatures by 5, divide the answer by 9 and then add 32 you’ll get the ‘F’ temperature. Yep, I’m a retired mathematics teacher.

Blake is a junior student at Blue Hills Public School. He is taller than his peers, has red hair and wears glasses with thick lenses due to his myopia.

As you can see from this paper-craft cut-out, Blake wears a school uniform. In Australia all Primary-school students wear a uniform in school colours with the school crest on the chest. Most schools also have a hat or cap for sun protection.

My BLAKE-E MYSTERIES are chapter-books for early readers. Each book includes colour illustrations and are great for mums and dads to read to kids.

As well as publishing these books for Amazon Kindle, there are downloads on this site which accompany each story. These include pictures to colour, find-a-words and crosswords.

Anyway, I trust you enjoy all three BLAKE-E MYSTERIES.

Feedback on these stories would be greatly appreciated

THE DOMINO CAPER – A BLAKE-E MYSTERY – Book One

This mystery starts when a green visitor galumphs from Blake’s backpack and the Farter, oops I mean Mrs Barter, believes Blake is responsible. His Mum and Dad think his disaster is hilarious and all Dad can say is: “Instead of complaining Blake, why not find who tricked you?”

You get to meet Brooke—Blake’s twin sister—Maddie, who tells jokes and Holly, the class poet as well as a bunch of odd students.

Blake’s first mystery doesn’t go well to start with but I won’t spoil the story.

Click on the book cover to head over to my special DOMINO CAPER page.

THE ALPHABET CAPER – A BLAKE-E MYSTERY – Book Two

OK, if Blake’s first mystery, ‘The Domino Caper’, involved chasing domino clues it’s not hard to guess the sort of clues in this yarn—letters, letters and more letters.

The gang is back including Brooke, Maddie and Holly. Blake has progressed a grade and his teacher this year is Mr Pugh. That’s Mr P-you, NOT Mr Poo.

So click on the cover to jump over to my ALPHABET CAPER page.

THE BILLY-BUCK CAPER – A BLAKE-E MYSTERY – Book Three

What could be worse than arriving at school to find Billy has disappeared. He’s one of the cutest Nigerian dwarf goats and the school mascot. What’s more, the police are baffled and don’t have any clues to help them find Billy.

So, you know what to do to find all the info on THE BILLY-BUCK CAPER.
