In each picture, there are six errors. Some mistakes are easy to detect, others are more difficult. The list of errors for each story will be posted at the same time as the subsequent story. Clicking on any drawing will take you to that particular story.
‘ALEA IACTA EST’ (The Die Is Cast)
1. The boy at the front has different coloured socks.
2. The graph on the board has six columns but on the overhead projector there is only five columns.
3. The die near the bin has two faces with one dot.
4. The girl with pigtails has a different worksheet with only two top lines and a table with only five columns.
5. There are two dice with dots in the wrong place. The opposite faces of a dice add to give seven. The boy at the front is about to catch a die with a ‘three’ and a ‘four’ NOT on opposite faces.
6. So too, the boy making the pile has a die with the ‘one’ and ‘six’ NOT on opposite faces.
HIGH FIVE DUNCAN
1. The red tie has groups of three yellow stripes except the top group which has only two stripes.
2. On Duncan’s certificate, ‘attainment’ is misspelt ‘attaimnent’.
3. ‘Joshua’ is incorrect. The last letter is not an ‘a’.
4. There appears to be a dog in the top left-hand corner.
5. The two flower arrangements are mirror images. What are the chances?
6. Duncan’s shoes are tied differently.

BALANCING SQUARES AND CUBES
1. The dark-blue cube’s chair is missing a leg.
2. The pink cube’s chair also has a leg missing.
3. The chair above the purple cube is missing the support for its back.
4. The other three errors are figures which are NOT cubes. They are the brown, the grey and the two-tone yellow cube.

PERSISTENT PERISTALSIS
1. One group of tally marks on the back wall has only three strokes marked off.
2. The ‘Metalwork’ sign above the door contains an uppercase ‘R’.
3. The principal is missing a cufflink.
4. The Macarena dance craze started in the 90’s long after the time of this yarn
5. The principal’s tie has an extra black line in the bottom stripe.
6. Although ‘smiley faces’ have a long history, decals were not available in the 60’s.

1. The number on the front of the train is back-to-front.
2. The suitcase is missing a lock.
3. The stars are shining so the sun glasses are out of place.
3. The wheelie bin on the platform had not been invented.
4. The ‘STATION MASTER’ sign is misspelt.
5. The guitar case is missing a handle.
6. The numbers on the AM radio dial should have an extra zero.
